This is an easy one for me and my house. Pretty much any day can be a strike, as we work from home, and can buy some orange shirts. A very good idea. We need to practice our general strike muscles, even if they are vestigial. I'll pass it on.g

I signed the petition, Naj. Thanks for the heads-up. The last thing the Persian Gulf region needs is any more weapons. It's a sad state of affairs, when the quest for the almighty dollar resorts to the manufacture and distribution of weapons of death and destruction. This criminal cabal would sell 9 mm handguns to school kids if they thought they could get away with it.

All:

This is business as usual for US and the Arab states of Persian Gulf.

US can recycle petro-dollars in this manner; the Arab States will have some hardware that can be in the desert getting baked, and Israel is going to get her weapons.

These weapons are not a threat to the Iranian State. Arabs do not have the armed forces to utilize these weapons.

No they don't.

But imagine if the "fundamentalists" of Saudi Arabia or Pakistan get their hands on those!

And anyways, enough of this "old" politics! We need to demand a new world! Us, the youngsters I mean! ;)

Larry,

For such updates, you should follow Hope's blog. That's where I came across it. And the petition is sent to me by email.

I wonder if this can become a MASSIVE movement.

Naj,

I think it can easily become a massive movement, one that is started through progressive blogs, like you are doing.
