Happy Nowruz Naj!

Did you see this yet?

Obama's Nowruz message to Iran ~ Persian subtitles

How's the translation?

Thanks all :)

I managed to not celebrate the new year this year, perhaps for the first time in my life!

So your well-wishes make it a bit festive for me, thanks and happy spring to you all!

Nunya, yes I saw Obama's greeting. I wish he didn't taint it by talking about weapons and terror ... those two words rendered his greetings rude and worthless, if you ask me--that kind of language is a No-No even to use with an enemy, in Persian culture! Someone needs to teach him a few Persian manners and extract the fear of AIPAC from his faint heart :)

clarification: "that kind of language is a No-No when extending a greeting to someone, even to a sworn enemy."

Hi Naj-
I have missed you. I was deeply impacted by the video - I felt the determination of the man, loved his memories....his life.
And Happy New Year to you.

Love Gail
