Rest in Peace Blog of Revelations

Two of my oldest blog companions, Nunya and Pen name had left a comment. They took me on memory lane, on the right bar of my blog where my favorites are listed. Many of those blogs have gone off line, I was sorry to find out. But I was SHOCKED to find my Brother Tim gone ...

Brother Tim was one of the 5 co-bloggers who are dear to my heart and thus on my facebook. He sent me gifts; and popped on the rotating friends list often. He was there in my daily e-ventures, close, taken foregranted ... he was there a safe friend to fall back when one needed peace of soul and peace of world, when one needed a chuckle or a passionate cry for a cause, he was there going head on at the face of adversity because he, a man of faith, refused to subscribe his Christianity to the bigotry of religion clowns ...

I am grateful for our digital age to have given me a friend, who shall remain eternal for me, living in the memory of this intricate net that connects our brains and hearts ...

I have never believed the death of people who touch my memories ...

Brother Tim is not dead for me ... but I will miss his reactions to the world ... I will miss him ...

Here's his last post on Iran. After the election, unlike many Leftos, he didn't join the choir of "Greens are American Imperialist Worshippers". He stayed silent--letting us grief/fight our cause--to not have joined the bomb-bomb-bomb-Iranian dictators choir either ...

He is in peace now ... and here we are, facing a world in hope of more like him to join our neo-resistance ...

Hi my good friend. It was good to hear from you.

I have not done much blogging since I feel so burned out by the rhetoric and hate filled venom that the right continues to spew.

Not only against our President, but anyone who does not subscribe to their racist, bigoted views.

Also all the hate that is spewed against your country of Iran with constant talk of bombing your great city.

I fear that America will have another great War here at home that will make the Civil War insignificant in comparison by the time it ends.

One thing I don't have to worry about though is MICE. LOL...LOL...

I hope your doing well and that one day we will pull all our troops out of foreign countries and bring them home.

We need to take care of our own citizens and stop being the Policemen of the World.

Maybe then we will all advance as one great world united in peace.

Take care and ....

God Bless.

The Brother was a good man, high on my own Facebook (after my original account got banned, I re-created a new account, and he's there, too.) I was actually planning to swing by Stl. Louis on my wy west later this year, which I will never do now. Very saddening.

Hello Naj, how nice and what a surprise to hear from you.

Like so many others, have cut back quite a bit and politics, as echoed above, is getting so stale, with idiots spewing rhetoric that obviously they do not understand (not to mention going backwards in time and century thought), well, add the economy and it's simply a mess.

Sorry to hear about the fellow blogger.

Hope all is well your way and Thanks again.....Cheers!

I agree with Anon-Paranoid, America is in the middle of some sort of spasm that may result in it falling apart. The hate circulating on the media and among the people is real and is not being allowed to rest.

I'm honestly expecting something bad to happen at any time.

Sorry to hear about Tim.

Hey, Naj, sorry to hear of your loss. Just as well you're still plugging along, keeping the bastards honest!

I'm doing my bit but attacking injustice does get a bit wearing after years of effort.

Of course, I've also had a couple of rounds with cancer and I'm awaiting the verdict which should come next month.

I'm confident of a good outcome but who knows?

Take care.

David ... sorry to hear that but you are so prolific and active and untiring.

Take a rest friend; the injustice is always there for us to fight, but our health is more important and a more rapidly wearing fabric that injustice.

by the way, when i wrote Naj & Mice, i was thinking about you getting the metaphor of it :)

I look in every now and then at Brother Tims's blog just to see who else checks in. Your kind words further illustrate the fact that Tim had the amazing quality of bonding as intimate friends with anyone who communicated with him. He was a rare person who truly radiated the love of his Creator.

Well said, Naj.
