State Sponsored Terrorism



July 3rd, 1988
The U.S. Navy's guided missile cruiser USS Vincennes,
shot down Iran Air Flight 655 over the Persian Gulf ,
killing all 290 passengers and crew members,
including 66 children.

I remember seeing the bridge crew on the news as the missile was launched. You can still hear about the Pam Am flight that was blown up over Scotland but Iranian Flight 655 doesn't play well since many American don't like to be reminded they are not all goodness and light. Yes, Utah it happened and we never apologized.
