This blog is about fairness; about looking at objects from multiple perspectives. Stable transformation comes only slowly; and only if the environment is free of sporadic jitters of passion and anger that destabilize growth. I strongly believe that the path to peace crosses through the battle with self.
What are you going to do President Obama? Bomb Iran for being a signatory to NPT and claiming its RIGHT to nuclear technology?!

Do not be afraid.
Mr. Obama is saying this because he is under pressure by internal US lobbies. He is saying, in effect, that he expects some useful activity within a year and he is the one to judge if that activity is useful or not. He is making it impossible to criticize him.
Actually, the American Jews are not the most formidable opponent of Iran. They are supported in their stupidities by a vast number of Protestant Americans who, for a variety of religious and non-religious reasons, support the Zionist Agenda to the hilt.
There is no danger of US attacking Iran, that ended in 2006.
There is a danger of Israel attacking Iran. Let it be so. They should take the time to say good-bye to their reactor @ Daimona before their attack.

Personally, I feel sad for Jews - they have paid and will continue to pay a heavy price for their project in Palestaine. They have paid for it in the form of Muslim enmity in this world and in the other world they will face God as well.
his lies to people in Iran! his ministers, whose degrees are granted fakely from Oxford!!! adopting an economic model which resembles the one that's got America and the rest of the world in "shit" Dissolving "sazmane barname o budget" his "feeling a halo" when talking in UN. his ugly eyes ... a man's goodness comes from his eyes, and Ahmadinejad's not an honest man, he is a charlatan!
He is smart! I do not question his intelligence; but I question his integrity, his intent and his care for Iran!
He has no "roots" in the land ... this is why he is seeking his support from the "arab streets" ...
Hellooo? That was the most boring non-statement ever. Nothing but that same old boring rhetoric, on the White House page link.
Don't be so paranoid, Naj. Obama has been in office less than 4 months. Frankly, the people in America are getting sick of Israel's bullshit, and it's much easier to find it now that the religious nut-job Bush has been sent packing.
We are also very sick of war. Now if we can just get the corporate owned and operated media to focus on how expensive the military is in relation to domestic problems like much needed health care...

Well he is not perfect - you should not make Perfect the enemy of the Good.
He is eductaed, humble (khaki), intelligent, religious, brave and is not corrupt.
He delivered on many of his promises too.
Someone told him that he does not look like a president - he replied that "at least I look like a nowkar."
People will always make mistakes - that is the nature of governance.

Honey, read
this. Juan Cole is one of the most rational and informed scholars in the US on the Middle East.
nunya:
Yes, I think this is a good time, before the Iranian election, for our leaders to make some sort of a concilatory gesture to Mr. Obama.
Hi Nunya, yeah good article! It's important that one doen't get their eyes off of Israel's nuclear weapons!!
Juan Cole is the commentator that I like to read when I smell wild propaganda from opposite sides flying around in the media.
I'm glad you liked the article Naj, :)
