Sickened ...

vomitose ...
This sort of crap makes me feel disillusioned; makes me want to delete my blog; makes me want to give up my Iranian citizenship.
But, I have also lived long enough, and read enough to know that these are the last breaths of the monster of threatened male egos. Retards! Ugly, dirty, filthy, rapists are the judges who hand out these sentences ... someday history will spill their beans ... i wish them eternal damnation ...

oh naj... sigh. old, hard, threatened men. it's the same everywhere- from this to the torturing of innocents to perpetuate war. it's all of the rest of us who get caught up in their games. each one of the delaras that are murdered take a piece from our hearts- and i, too, lose hope. i keep going simply because the truth must be told. if people today won't believe- then for posterity so that history cannot be rewritten. it will be laid bare in all of its ugliness. you are a truthteller. take a step back and rest. but don't give up. strong women are always a threat but if there are more of us than them- they can't get us all :)

I pale in comparison to your "truth-telling".
I am sickened by the images - the desperate agony expressed beyond my comprehension.

All:

You seem to forget that this woman had killed another person. She was 17 years old and knew the difference between roght and wrong.

Justice demanded hear death.

oh Naj,

I'm sorry this happened. There is a saying, and I don't know where it comes from:

"The darkest hour is just before dawn."

The Iranian people are tired of such Draconian penalties?

Many people in the US think that the death penalty is outdated and some states have stopped it, if only temporarily to study whether or not it is applied fairly. I think more poor people are given the death penalty, than rich people.

I personally have mixed feelings about it, due to the appalling state of our prison system, and what I believe is the unfair state of our justice system.

Good one Naj. I just read that in the US that a larger percentage of Christian fundamentalists were in favor of torture than the less religious folk My hope is that Obama can keep US going on this change thing and get US to also stop the death penalty here so that we can advocate for its elimination elsewhere.

When I think of things like this, and the torture, it makes me think of this song.

John Mayer - Belief

Is there anyone who ever remembers
changing their mind from the paint on a sign?,
is there anyone who really recalls
ever breaking rank at all
for something someone yelled real loud one time?
oh, everyone believes
in how they think it oughta be
oh, everyone believes
and they're not going easily

belief is a beautiful armor
but makes for the heaviest sword
like punching underwater
you never can hit who you're trying for
some lead the exhibition
and some have to know they tried
it's the chemical weapon
for the war that's raging on inside
oh, everyone believes
from emptiness to everything
oh, everyone believes
and no one's going quietly

we're never gonna win the world
we're never gonna stop the war
we're never gonna beat this
if belief is what we're fighting for

we're never gonna win the world
we're never gonna stop the war
we're never gonna beat this
if belief is what we're fighting for

is there anyone you can remember
ever surrender with their life on the line?

we're never gonna win the world
we're never gonna stop the war
we're never gonna beat this
if belief is what we're fighting for

we're never gonna win the world
we're never gonna stop the war
we're never gonna beat this
if belief is what we're fighting for

what puts a hundred thousand children in the sand?
belief can, belief can
what puts a folded flag inside his mother's hand?
belief can, belief can

Please note the following from Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delara_Darabi

"Darabi...convicted of murdering her father's wealthy female cousin."

You are thinking of a different case if you are alluding to rsisting a rapist.

Nunya: I agree! NO WAR is a sacred war!
Self-defense (and not the preemptive kind) is the only form of "violence" I am willing to forgive.

I cannot stay mad at people; I cannot hate people, and I cannot stew in my own anger for too long either! I have even forgiven my idiotic boss who has been throwing stone on my way for the past 4 years!

So, I am not mad at you any more!

Sorry for getting angry! Sorry for acting rudely!
I delete my rapture!

Cheers!
