Of course...was there EVER any doubt this was the point of invading a country that posed no threeat to us but happened to sit the the 2nd largest oil reserve in the world? It is also no accident the most recent incarnation of mission has been dubbed "Operation Imposing Law. I am sickened to my core what greed does to the human behavior.
Yes, greed. That's it! regardless what kind of philosophical/economic/political/ideological justification we find for expansionism, greed is the cause, and the end too.
