Kidnapping the second martyr!

This one didn't have the "Basiji Looks", so they just decided to do the photographic honor while posing beneath the coffin.

Naj, for the life of me, I just can not believe this. Just a few nights ago my friends I and were going over the IRI's tactics post-election and we were saying how as far as conniving and brutality is concerned, they were always so far ahead than anything anyone could have imagined.

... and now this! killing an innocent protester and then stealing his body as one of your own.

Naj, how can we ever ever "win" against such perfidy? against a lie that doesn't even let go of the dead?

I'm just in awe.

Ped,

I just don't know what to say ... what REALLY bothers me is that there are actual humans who are holding this coffin and they KNOW they have stolen it ... I just cannot imagine the level of complicity ... something horrible will befall us if we don't do something about this.

You know, until this recent event, I was an ardent anti-radicalist. But, this INCREDIBLE HYPOCRISY ... there is just no way left to hope for reform and compromise ...

Ped any news of Karoubi/Mousavi? I dont' believe the 'statements' to be authentic ... I will not be surprised if they have already slit the throats of these families; and then they will blame it on Zionists and Monafeghs!!!

LOL ... I see this transformation in both of us, and it's mind boggling. I'm NO way a radicalist either, I HATE revolutions and chaos, but for the past week I've been thinking "what does 'reform' even mean anymore?" They won't even let go of a body! Narges Mohammadi's accounts too were mind numbing. Just like the people stealing the coffin ... these are REAL people participating in this perfidy and murder ...

really? I thought the karoubi statement was funny, but Mousavi's sounded real to me. I even though to myself that he probably wrote it before the protests and gave it to them to publish post-protest, knowing that people would be killed in the process.

Are they even alive?!!

Every last force in the IRI asked for their execution today and yesterday. Shit is waiting to happen ... that son of a gun Nateq Nouri and Rezaie! I wanted to pull out every last hair on his head and watch him weep :'(

Naj, what worries me isn't Khamenei ... but what you wrote .. the "complicity" of REAL people. I have a distant cousin who left her parents along time ago to go to Qom, 'nazdeh agha'. she believes in this shit. she's a highly educated women who left everything. sure, she's just one person. but I fear the FISSURES that have been created, these thugs are not only carrying out violence, but PERPETUATING it in various forms. As bad as things are, they have supporters. paid and unpaid, male and female, in any size & shape.

That's what I fear. That's what makes this case different. That's what makes me hate and fear this macabre form of theocracy so much.

Sorry to litter your posts, but I was watching this on IRIB and saw ayandehNews has just posted it too:

http://www.ayandenews.com/news/25736/

Shariatmadari was on TV claiming that Jaleh had attended the Montazeri meeting as a "spy" for the basij!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Naj said...

Thank you dear.
Actually this blunder of Shariatmadary was posted on a site; but it is now filtered.

The grotesque of Shariatmadari deserves to be a classic.

He is so intent on snatching this dead man to his cause, that he is saying: "Look, I have proof that he was from us, he was shit!"

You cannot win against the regime without countering its propaganda and unlinking its brutal hands of enforcement.

RevoIran

We should NEVER SINK to their level of propaganda; that will be a losing game to play.

I am completely baffled by what's happening there; however it's intriguing and bothersome to see a people with a history of revolution being gagged and forced into becoming bystanders as hard-line lawmakers call for the execution of three leading reformist and opposition figures, Mir Hossein Mousavi, Mehdi Karroubi and former president Mohammad Khatami.
Like I said, I don't know what to make of this anymore, and the media can't be trusted and FB and Twitter are falling prey to sensationalism in order to garner following...

Id,

good to see you again, it's been long time.

How is it possible, that these things happen? Simple: fear! Also, keep in mind that the most ardent supporters of this cause are already jailed or have fled the country.

The people that you see in the photo below are not ordinary 'enemies'; they are DANGEROUS individuals, who are partly ideologically brain-washed, partly opportunist, and partly mentally deranged.

They arrest illegally, RAPE in the name of Islalm, and then kill and torture brutally, all in the name of Islam, with a decree from one of the Mullahs who stands behind their cause.

As for the MSM, social media and twitter sensationalization: I don't think anyone media-sensationalizes things more that the IRI media does.

In the posts I have made in the past few days, I am getting my information straight out of Iranian media, the Ahmadinejadist media. So, things are really ugly.

But why are people standing by when death is chanted to Hashemi & Mousavi? Well, the answer to this also answers another one of your points. You shoudl remember that Hashemi and Mousavi ruled Iran during a very similarly oppressive times. A lot of people in Iran have NEVER been revolutionaries; and have hated Khomeini and his 'kids' (Mousavi Karoubi Hashemi) for ever. So, to some extent, Iranians are letting the Islamic Republic self-destroy! And the IRI is busy self-destroying alright. so, that's that!

A bit more clear?

Naj,

This has got to be the most disgusting thing I have ever seen in my life. The regime's madness, hypocrisy, and cruelty have gone off the charts.

I thought it was pathetic when they condemned the UK's crackdown on student protests. Then they came out of support for the Tunisian uprising...followed by condemnations of Egypt's crackdown hours before they executed Zahra Bahrami!

Now this...

Naj said...

Corey,

Disgusting doesn't even begin to describe it.

Thanks Naj... it makes me want to believe that oppressed and gagged they may be, but Iranians are not delusional. It's only a matter of time when this charade is going to explode in the faces of those who created it!

Id,

I wish it did.

I feel we are at the point of no return.

The most pacifist of us, the most conservative and prudent of us, are totally incensed by this recent bout of crookery and lawlessness. I am no longer going to preach peace to the youngsters who have had enough of this and want to go get themselves killed to get these thugs out.

If I were 22; and my friend's body was carried on teh shoulders of his killers, I will not have remained silent or non-violent. so all bets are off now; and wit the Green leaders in unlawful detention no one can even control the anger of the youth. So I am just bracing for the worst, personally.
