Salam alaikum Naj,
Thank you a thousand times for your blog. I'm in solidarity with democrats and anti-fascists in Iran as I was last winter with Gaza and as I'm now with anti-fascists in Honduras. Don't feel alone, the true Muslims and good persons from everywhere are with you.

Freedom for Iran, No more fascism.
Allah ma'akum

Dear Juan, welcome to neo-resistance!

Fascism plagues us all; what hurts me is those with whom i have stood in defense of humanity, and have now abandoned me when my country's ill with such an open assault on all values it has lent their cause for the past 30 years ...

I'm telling you, that really angers me. Democracy yeah. The Qum Religious leaders have now fallen squarely on the side of the reformers.
Khamenei is blaming their anger at him on western agitators. Watch, he is going to clamp down on them too. Either that or civil war that is it.

Jim dear, you are being pessimistic again?!

There won't be civil war in Iran; there has never been, there will never be!

The "people" in Iran are a powerful force. Already from Ahmadinejad's "state of the union"-like last night, it is clear that "he has heard the voice of the revolution." The clerics in Iran are also a powerful force. If they could be "cracked down", then we sould have expected Grand Ayatollah Montazeri be dead by now! He is not. He is not part of the government; he is under house arrest, but he is still speaking freely!

The LEAST is that he is now emphasizing "social freedom" in his agenda!!

I know! You know your country. I just do not see the people giving up just simmering until?
